Washington State Activities to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day

In Washington State there are so many fun activities in keeping up with the celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. A short trip to downtown Seattle will give you more festivities than you can handle.

The most popular event would be the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Celebration.
Imbibe that Irish spirit in yourself and join in the parade. You might even win a trophy in the end. You can also kiss the Brem-Iarney Stone for eloquence or snap a photo of your wee one as the leprechauns pass. Enjoy all of the green as floats and entertainers sashay their way throughout the parade. You can even dress your dogs up in green and you might just take home the Top Dog award. Groom your pet before the parade starts because that is when they will be judged.

If you want to celebrate St. Patricks Day in a food feast then you can do so with the eve dinner offered by organizations like the Celtic Arts Foundation. For around $35 per head you can feast on colcannon, cabbage, dessert and corned beef. While devouring the sumptuous dishes, you can also enjoy live music, Irish dancing and a whole lot of fun going on.

With so many activities going on you won’t need to go far to enjoy St. Patrick’s Day. Our beloved Washington area has you taken care of. Do you have St. Patrick’s Day traditions?
